Jelly Belly Launches Jelly Belly Mocktails

Basta driver, sweet lover. And so goes the road dwellers’ motto; and it’s definitely not romantic love these drivers are referring to. But now, surely, they have more of a reason (dare I say a license?) to drink and drive.

This never-before-heard statement was conceived last November 22 at El Cirkulo restaurant in Makati as Candy Corner exposed its cool selection of Jelly Belly Mocktails. The world’s no. 1 gourmet jellybean ushers in the metro’s favorite party mixes in safe but, nonetheless, sweet concoctions.

"Jelly Belly recognizes the fact that drinking alcoholic beverages is already an integral part of Filipino celebrations. However, we also want to make our roads a safer place to stroll. The Jelly Belly Mocktails presents a stylish way for drivers to enjoy the same goodness of their favorite alcoholic drinks without putting lives in peril," says Ricky Andres, president of Candy Corner.

The event gave visitors their first sip of what could be the pioneering feat for Filipino sweet lovers and drivers alike. Bursting with more than 50 true-to-life flavors, the Jelly Belly Mocktails are sure to reward responsible drivers for not exceeding their alcohol limits. No leaving the party just yet even if you have already reached your alcohol tolerance level. Ranging from the usual flavors of tropical mixes like apple and orange to the more unconventional tang of popcorn, party goers can still quench their thirst with the Jelly Belly Mocktails without taking their chances on road accidents.

Candy Corner also launches the Jelly Belly Martini Recipe Book for homebodies who prefer more intimate celebrations. Tapping into the skill of the Cellar Dwellers, a group of experts who specialize in drink mixes, the Jelly Belly Martini Recipe Book is sure to spike home-based merry making.

"Efforts to curtail drunk-driving don’t have to be grim and uncool. With this project, we hope to bring back the fun and coolness in sobriety", notes Ricky.

So add fun and unique cocktail drinks in your wedding and make it a celebration worthy of remembrance, with guests who are not drunk but happy and satisfied nonetheless.
