British cult favorite b Store, which last year won the British Council Award for Shop of the Year (besting both Liberty and Harrods) has gained a loyal customer following since opening in 2000.

Fans of the store appreciate the subtle detailing and high quality of the merchandise, with particular attention to gaps in the wardrobe that the store sumptuously fills. Co-owners Matthew Murphy and Kirk Beattie have since created their on line b Clothing, which they describe as “price-conscious, well-made and on-trend.”
Subtly detailed casual clothing influenced by the British tradition of tailoring, b Clothing is the kind of menswear that self-assured, fashion-inclined men would wear. Its Autumn-Winter 2007 collection features a slim silhouette in fine wool gabardines punctuated by bold check shirting and accessories such as peaked caps. Shirting stands out in its subtlety and plays on collar simplicity and delicate cuff detail.
b Clothing is available at dotdotdot, Greenbelt 5.
