Raffles Solutions, a leading partner of Microsoft, announced that it has signed a partnership agreement with Zap Technology to resell Zap’s Business Intelligence (BI) solution for Microsoft Dynamics NAV in the Philippines.
Created specifically for Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Zap helps NAV users run their businesses more effectively by adding features to the regular business management software. The solution enables them to create and modify their own analysis and web-based reports of their data, without any IT assistance.
In an earlier statement, Joy Paul Tharakan, Managing Director for Zap Asia, said, "We are very pleased to be working with an industry leader such as Raffles Solutions, a company that has proven ERP and NAV experience and is seen as an expert authority. With this partnership, Raffles solutions hopes to further improve its service to its diverse clients,"
Bo Lundqvist, General Manager of Raffles Solutions, explained that running advanced analytics is no longer the domain of specialists. This capability, he stressed, needs to be at the business user's fingertips. "As a leading consulting implementation provider for the Microsoft Dynamics NAV product, we continuously look for products which would enhance the solution to our customers beyond ERP," Lundqvist said. "We recognize that Zap offers unique value to customers by assisting them in getting the most of analysis out of their ERP data.
Zap Business Intelligence is an out-of-the-box BI solution that provides reporting, analysis, dashboards and scorecards via a web portal. It offers individual ledgers such as sales, purchasing, inventory, manufacturing and CRM that are integrated and reconciled with the general ledger. This allows users to run integrated ERP analysis across finance, supply chain and projects.
Besides the classic BI solution, Raffles Solutions has also developed options which aid users in reporting and advanced financial modeling using Microsoft Office Excel. This new technology provides the benefits of the familiar Excel interface while ensuring that users perform analysis on the most up-to-date version of corporate data.
