HELLO WORLD!
LONDON — The ExCel Exhibition Center at the Docklands just outside the city is perhaps 20 times the size of our World Trade Center. Yet it was packed to the rafters (if there were any) with exhibition booths and everybody who’s any body in the global travel industry.

One ‘STEP’ that makes a big difference
What would happen if Asia’s brightest students were gathered together, camping-style? One might expect a meeting of minds. Everybody would compete against each other to excel and to prove who’s really the brightest. Ironically, it turned out to be the opposite when some of the smartest college students from different Asian countries got together recently for the 10th Sunburst Youth Camp in Singapore.

A treat for the eyes, a feast for the tummy
There are days when you just want to cuddle in the sofa because it’s too cold to move around or those times when you feel so down because everything has gone awry. You probably found comfort in a cup of hot cocoa drink or a chocolate bar to chase the blues away.

No more dreaming of a white Christmas!
For those who missed the weather forecast, snow started falling as early as September in the city — inside Snow World, that is, where temperatures have dropped to a frigid 15°C.

TRAVEL CAFÉ PHILIPPINES
“Kape muna tayo!” We’ve all heard and used that phrase before. More than an offer of a beverage, it is an invitation to sit, rest, and partake in whatever the host has to offer.

WIGGED & PROUD:
Glimmer of joy, beauty, and hope thrived when 50 cancer patients from the Philippine General Hospital and East Avenue Medical Center were pampered with beauty treatments, provided with wigs and new hairstyles at the kick off event of PLDT–Smart Foundation’s (PSF) Wigged and Proud campaign.

Christmas impressions
The pressure of coming up with spectacular and unique holiday displays is enough to drive hotel decorators crazy.

A Colorful Vegetarian Christmas
CHRISTMAS is a time for feasting in the traditional Filipino home, but the rising prices of meat make it a challenge to plan a hearty Christmas meal this holiday season.
