spacer

Philippines-based commercial and editorial photographer and lecturer Jay Alonzo recently conducted a photography workshop in Chiang Mai, Thailand for the distributors of Olympus digital cameras from Asia and the Middle East.

The workshop focused on taking better photographs with the latest Olympus E-System of digital single lens reflex cameras and was held at the Imperial Mae Ping Hotel in the tourist city of Chiang Mai. Lecture and discussion occupied the first part of the workshop. After lunch, the group embarked on a photo safari to apply the lessons. The Olympus party witnessed elephants being washed by their handlers in the river. The group was also given an opportunity to feed the giant mammals and each participant was taken for a ride on elephants in the forest and were treated to an elephant show. Afterwards, the group went to a flower farm which is one of the main produce of Chiang Mai.

Jay A who’s been giving lectures and workshops on photography nationwide for almost 12 years now to various companies such as Picture Company, Procter & Gamble, Accenture and Olympus Philippines, was requested by the regional office of Olympus Hong Kong to conduct the course. Alonzo, also an endorser of Olympus digital cameras in the Philippines, has been an avid user of the Olympus line of digital cameras starting with the Olympus E-20.
