Mr. Brian Wei, Viewsonic’s Sr. Product Manager, Product Marketing Manager for Asia Pacific Region, said that ViewSonic Corp.’s commitment to state-of-the-art technology is yet again displayed with the launch of the new product lines including the 22-inch widescreen VLED221wm desktop monitor, which features the world’s first 12000:1 dynamic contrast ratio in a LED desktop display; high resolution digital picture frames; affordable High Definition Television (HD TV); and new lines of projectors.

| Brian Wei | | Wei said that The VLED221wm provides color experts, such as graphic designers, multi-media editors and gamers, with the best color precision and reproduction.
"This new product offers consumers high-quality color reproduction by leveraging OptiColor technology to display 118 percent of the color gamut based on the National Television System Committee (NTSC) guidelines. In comparison, most CRT and LCD monitors on the market today only display 70 to 80 percent of the NTSC’s range of colors. This allows graphic designers to more accurately match colors to printed materials, and gives photographers and video editors access to a broader color spectrum."
The VLED221wm is ideal for high-end design applications such as CAD/CAM, desktop publishing and moving production, which must achieve the highest level of color performance.
The ViewSonic VLED221wm is Windows Vista™ Certified and will be available in soon.
Wei also said that the Consumer Electronic Association (CEA) estimates that consumers in the US will buy 70 million new digital televisions (DTVs) over the next two years. ViewSonic Corp. is delivering premium HDTV entertainment at more affordable prices with the big screen 47-inch N4785p and 42-inch N4285p LCD HDTVs to meet this growing demand. ViewSonic’s LCD TVs offer an integrated ATSC/NTSC/QAM TV tuner and comprehensive inputs including component video "S" and composite video to be compatible with existing DVD players and video set-top boxes. To support high-definition peripherals, such as video game consoles and Blu-Ray discs, the N4785p provides three HDMI connections with HDCP compatibility, while the N4285p provides two HDMI connections. For custom home automation integrators, the N4785p also includes a RS232 control input port.
Both TVs are compatible with PCs up to 1680x1050 resolution, allowing users to watch downloaded multimedia or YouTube video favorites on the big screen. The N4785p and N4285p are also equipped with Dolby Digital stereo sound for high-fidelity audio that optimizes the entertainment experience.
Wei added that more than two-thirds of the digital photos taken are never printed or displayed, keeping memories bottled up on memory cards and computer hard drives. ViewSonic Corp. sets photos free from the hard drive and brings them to the coffee table with the introduction of an easy-to-use digital picture frame line. The company’s first picture frames — the widescreen 7-inch DP701W4WH, widescreen 8-inch DF88W-523 and traditional 8-inch DF87G533 — are affordable, stylish and versatile, providing a high-quality display for consumers to show off digital photos that may have never seen the light of day.
Pictures can be uploaded to the frames with a USB cable or directly from a camera’s memory card. With 128MB of internal memory standard, the frames can display and rotate nearly 106 1.2-megapixel photos. The user can browse and display photos individually, view thumbnails or create an image slideshow with transition effects.
Viewsonic products are distributed by Innovista Technologies in the Philippines.
