ZAMBOANGA CITY (PNA) — The Zamboanga City Reformatory Center (ZCRC) has heightened alert due to six high-risk prisoners detained at the city jail.
Jail officer-in-charge Supt. Ester Pepito said one of the high-risk detainees is Ronnie Tillang, a suspected Abu Sayyaf member, of Isabela City.
The five others were arrested following a series of raids in three suspected shabu laboratories in Lamisahan, Tetuan and Talon-Talon.
They are Lucky Ong, Andy Yang, Edgar Rico Lugiz, Israel Dancel and Rudyguard Payton.
Pepito said that visitors of the six detainees have to undergo tight screening to avoid possible entry of contrabands.
"Jail guards conduct daily cell-to-cell checks to make sure the inmates are not hiding any contraband," Pepito said.
