Text and photos by Kleyr dela Cruz
In 1998, I took my first trip overseas to attend a cousin’s wedding in Sydney. It was love at first sight for me.
I was simply spellbound, and wished Manila was just as clean and systemized. Armed with a red
Canon point-and-shoot film camera borrowed from my dad, my photos were like postcards.
Ten years and three more trips down under, I’ve documented every trip, every city, and every state I’ve been to. Mainly based in Sydney, where all of my relatives and friends live, I’ve been lucky enough to explore outside New South Wales, from the twelve apostles at the Great Ocean Road, to the colors of Melbourne, the beaches of Gold Coast, and the patriotism in Canberra.
I’ve been to other Asian countries as well, none as beautiful as Australia.
Wandering Soul is my personal travel journal. In sharing my photos, my work, my thoughts, my inner soul, I am sharing my life.
