The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced yesterday that 705 out of 2,494 passed the Electrical Engineer Licensure Examinations given by the Board of Electrical Engineering in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo and Legazpi this May, 2008.
On the Board of Electrical Engineering which gave the licensure examinations are Engr. Rodolfo R. Peñalosa, chairman; Engr. Edward L. Mendoza and Engr. Jaime V. Mendoza, members.
The successful examinees who garnered the 10 highest places in the Registered Electrical Engineering are the following:
Russell Ian Carreon Paragoso, Cebu Institute of Technology, 86.50; Roy Anthony Tuanggang Bayon, Cebu Institute of Technology, 86.25; Rowel Allan Aquino Rocaberte, Saint Louis University, 85.90; Ryan dela Cruz Toledo, Nueva Ecija University of Science & Technology-Cabanatuan, 84.55; Jeprie Lacusta Gultia, Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology, 84.30; Dominic Xavier Rasalan Lampa, University of the Philippines-Los Baños, 84.15; Arnaldo Tibay de Guzman, Feati University, 83.80; Joseph Montinola Miranda, Romblon State College-Odiongan, 83.35; Heidi Jane Pineda Tan, Mapua Institute of Technology, 83.15; Francis Angelo Valenzuela Mendiola, Nueva Ecija University of Science & Technology-Cabanatuan, 83.00.
The successful examinees who garnered the four highest places in the Registered Master Electrician are the following:
Katrina Arganda Manlangit, Bicol University-Legazpi, 83.00; Jessoni Navarro Mora, Bicol University-Legazpi, 82.00; Rhonny de Guzman Nacor, Saint Catherine College, 81.00; Elmer Batang Tattao, Cagayan State University-Tuguegarao, 81.00; Darwin Lambino de Asis, University of Eastern Philippines-Catarman, 80.00; Hector Salvan Parica, Southern Luzon Polytechnic College-Lucban, 80.00; Marfe Dequiña Resco, Central Luzon College of Science & Technology-Olongapo, 80.00.
The results were released in two days after the last day of examinations.
Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will start on Friday, May 16, 2008 but not later than June 6, 2008.
Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), two pieces passport size picture (colored with white background and complete nametag), one piece 1" x 1" picture (colored with white background and complete nametag), two sets of metered documentary stamps, and one short brown envelope with name and profession; and to pay the Initial Registration Fee of R600 and Annual Registration Fee of R450 for 2008-2011 for Registered Electrical Engineer; Initial Registration Fee of R450 and Annual Registration Fee of R420 for 2008-2011 for Registered Master Electrician.
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The oathtaking ceremony of the successful examinees in the said examination, as well as the previous ones who have not taken their Oath of Professional, will be held before the Board on Friday, June 13, 2008 at 1 p.m. at the Centennial Hall, Manila Hotel, One Rizal Park, Manila.
Registration for membership with the Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers of the Philippines (IIEE) will start on May 16, 2008, as mandated by Law, under Resolution 36, Series of 2003. The IIEE is the only Electrical Professional Association accredited by the Professional Regulation Commission.
