Dennis was one of the celebrities who attended the launch of Simply Perfect, a new aesthetic and wellness center at SM City North EDSA The Block late last week.

Dennis graced the event alongside Katrina Halili, his new co-star in "Magdusa Ka," and with whom, he said, he does not mind falling for if ever he and Katrina find themselves drawn to each other during the course of working together.

Over the weekend, Dennis also celebrated his birthday on "SOP" and courageously announced, "I may not prove to everybody that I am a better person and a better man now having been through [all the challenges I faced as far as] my personal life was concerned but I am stronger and I will continue to do everything so people will see my efforts."

Dennis was caught between his feuding ex-girlfriend Carlene Aguilar whom he sired a baby boy and Cristine Reyes.

Dennis said he is "glad that GMA Network has stuck by my side and supported me through it all," thus, giving him a new lease on life ("Zaido" and "Magdusa Ka") to prove that he is in a business where good actors are recognized despite their personal struggles.

Working with Katrina

In the new afternoon GMA drama series "Magdusa Ka," Dennis and Katrina star with Iwa Moto. The serialized version of the 80s drama top-billed by Dina Bonnevie and Nida Blanca will see Katrina doing a Cinderella role for the first time. The Starstruck product best known as the thorn in Mari Mar’s life Angelica in the concluded GMA primetime series told Manila Bulletin that she is looking forward into whatever chemistry working with Dennis and Iwa would bring.

At the Simply Perfect event, Katrina cleared there was not truth to rumors that she and Iwa are having conflicts.

She said she understood if Iwa felt interested to see how Katrina would do as a heroine. "Apat na taon na akong nang-aapi, the change is very much welcome," she stressed.
