To raise people’s appreciation for photographic arts and to provide a venue to upgrade photographic skills of practitioners, amateurs, and professionals, the Federation of Philippine Photographers Foundation, Inc., (FPPF) is regularly holding basic and advanced photography courses at the Fort Santiago, Intramuros, Manila.
The next five-Sunday basic and advanced courses will start on May 25. A Saturday basic photo course will start on May 24.
For basic course, lecture includes how to use the camera, composition, how elements are arranged to present a good picture, poses in portraits with the use of reflectors and available light, and many more lessons and pointers that will enable beginners how to use their camera.
Those interested to take the advanced course must have sufficient knowledge in photography to qualify. But for those who finished the basic course can automatically take the advanced course.
Sponsored by Fujifilm-YKL and the Intramuros Administration, this workshop is first-come-first-served basis due to limited space.
Lecturers for the basic course are multi-awarded photographers Prof. Cecilia Angeles, Ador Pamintuan, and Toch Arellano while for the advanced course are veteran photojournalist Victor Sison and Ed Santiago.
