Some of our readers seem to be having a lot of fun this summer season. Among recent submissions to this column are photos from travels to different spots around the country.

| photos by Romulus Rueda | | | Makati-based IT analyst Romulus Rueda says his "wanderlust must be kicking in." He visited Anawangin in February, Ilocos in March, and the provinces of Dumaguete and Siquijor just last month. Romulus shares that he travels whenever he gets the chance to. Aside from the vacation, he also gets to indulge in his favorite hobby. This Naga-born photographer has previously shared his images through this column.
Nature lover Jen Lopez of Ilocos also sent in photos from "our summer getaway to Pagudpud." She writes: "We went to a beautiful place, the ‘kabigan falls.’ From the main road you have to walk 1.5 km. Malayo siya but once you get there, the site is really awesome."
New contributor Allen Cortez from Sta. Rosa, Laguna shares that he has owned "an SLR since 2005, but it wasn’t until 2007 when I really got hooked through the net and it’s only now that I’m ‘abusing’ the camera." He says that while he has also tried street, portraiture, and product photography, his "first love" continues to be landscapes and nightscapes. Allen works for one of the biggest automotive manufacturers in the country.
