Toshiba’s ultraportable stylish PORTÉGÉ M800
Toshiba’s Computer Systems Division (CSD), a division of Toshiba Singapore Pte Ltd, has taken the wraps off its new PORTÉGÉ M800 notebook -- with a brand new, stylish design for notebook users who want to Do More in Style.
Designed to stand out from the crowd, the new PORTÉGÉ M800 comes with the new breathtaking Toshiba Fusion Finish, a super-high gloss exterior that’s achieved with a special manufacturing process that involves fusing molten resin into the mold. This reproduces a breathtaking metallic effect with high precision positional accuracy.
The word "Fusion" also represents a combination of innovation, reliability and style in Toshiba notebooks and hence the name, Fusion Finish. Add to this the unique Horizon Line design and you have a stylish notebook that everyone will desire.
Other distinctive design elements in this notebook series include feather-touch multimedia buttons, flushed touch pad with chrome mouse buttons and a white LED lighted PORTÉGÉ logo. Two colours Cool Pearl White or Glossy Mercury Silver (selected countries only) with Toshiba Fusion Finish are available.

SmartFace™ (NEW): Log-on to your notebook conveniently with SmartFace™ technology, which takes a digital snapshot of the user’s face to create a unique password by digital mapping of key features of the user’s face. It also recognizes multiple users and logs on to the Windows operating system without requiring users to remember and type a single password – great for families who may share one notebook.
Business Card Reader (NEW): The Business card reader automatically scans business cards and stores them. This feature is available on Microsoft® Vista Business pre-installed models only. All other features may vary depending on model.
