Telling stories through documenting One thing that keeps artists satisfied with their work is the privilege to tell stories and discover something new. Photographer Richard “Bahaghari” de Guzman is so much into travel and documentary for these reasons. For him, it’s always a magical experience to capture images he has not seen before and share them to others.
Point and Shoot like a Pro! The first leg of travel photography workshop series recently held in Batanes was a huge success. The event, conducted by ace travel photographer George Tapan, had brought together photography enthusiasts in a spell-bound experience as they capture through the lens the beauty of the paradise.

Saying goodbye Malaysia was such a wonderful place to visit. At first, there was this tendency to keep comparing the country with the Philippines especially since it has surpassed us in terms of development. If you think about it though, you have to realize that Malaysia is so much like a sibling to the Philippines and its success is something we should also be proud of and, as one writer put it, let our envy for any of its successes propel us to greater heights.
MIATA CAMERA CLUB Miata Camera Club (MCC) is one of the sub-groups of the Miata Club Philippines (MCP) founded with an objective to give its members the opportunity to enjoy their cars together with other Miata enthusiasts. For almost 10 years now, members have been enjoying the Fun Run activities of the club held in various local destinations like Baguio, Pagudpud, Bataan, Subic in the North and Tagaytay, Batangas up to Bicol in the South. To immortalize those moments, some members have been recording it through the lenses of their cameras.

SILVERLENS FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES GRANTEES FOR 2008 Silverlens Foundation (SLF) proudly announces the winners of their 2008 Grant Program. This year, SLF received over 30 applications for the four grant categories. Similar to last year’s Grant Program which had numerous international applicants, applications came from as far as Israel, United States, and Australia. Out of these, only three were selected.
Photography workshop in Intramuros Fort Santiago, the historic Fort in Intramuros has been the venue of Basic Photography Workshop conducted since 1993 by the Federation of Philippine Photographers Foundation, Inc (FPPF). The workshop has nurtured the careers of hundreds of professional photographers who have gone into weddings, events, cruise ship, and employment abroad.
