It was a dual celebration for Petrona Lim, past president of the Santuario de San Antonio in Forbes Park. She was conferred the papal honor of Dame of St. Sylvester by His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI; and it was likewise another milestone in her life – her 80th birthday.
Business magnate son David orchestrated a lavish dinner-dance for her, which was held at the Mandarin Oriental hotel ballroom. Tita Petrona, an agile dancer herself, initiated the first dance. It was truly a birthday to remember!
The grand Forbes Park residence of Paing and Mely Hechanova was the perfect venue for a despedida luncheon for stylish sisters Nene Leonor and Fe Rodriguez. Guests were treated to a sumptuous variety of favorite dishes.
