A homegrown equipment manufacturing firm will unveil its own world class and breakthrough products vis-a-vis the best of other countries, including the Philippines, when they all go on exhibit at the Agrilink, Foodlink and Aqualink 2008 which will be held at the World Trade Center Metro Manila on October 9 to 11.
Seacom which is vigorously developing energy-saving and anti-pollutionproducts, will particularly showcase its own fabricated solar heaters, water tanks, heat pumps, rice mills, composters and even construction equipment.
Specializing in irrigation systems, Seacom is one of the country’s top agribusiness companies.
In 1969, the company organized the Seacom Industrial Corporation, a foundry and machining plant, to assemble Mitsubishi power tillers and water-cooled diesel engines as well as manufacture Dragon Jetmatic hand pumps.
In 1983, Seacom activated Seacom Manufacturing, Inc. (SMI) to fabricate water tanks, rice mills, composters and construction equipment.
Seacom is further diversifying into other related fields as it enters into partnership with other service-oriented firms.
The results of such partnerships will be showcased at the Agrilink 2008 where Seacom’s wide range of exhibits will include Mitsubishi Meiki and Powermak engines, Mitsubishi and Denyo power generators, and Sumisansui irrigation system.
