Traveling the highways and byways Freelance photographer Walter Villa blames a sci-fi show for planting the seeds for a lifelong passion.
Young starters Willi Baclao, moderator of the Ateneo de Manila high school’s Zoom Photo Org., wrote in to share some of the best shots of his students. He says that most of the club’s members are newbies with very impressive equipment. However, they still have much to learn regarding the technical side of photography and also the artistic (or “poetic”) treatment of subjects.
In the clear running water Spirit of God in the clear running water
Blowing to greatness the trees on the hill.
Spirit of God in the finger of morning:
Fill the earth, bring it to birth,
And blow where you will.
Blow, blow, blow till I be
But the breath of the Spirit blowing in me.
