Lingayen, Pangasinan – Vice President Jejomar C. Binay, who is known to be a boy scout through and through, said over the weekend that the five-day National Scout Venture Camp held recently at the Capitol beachfront, here, was impressively hosted.
Many of those interviewed by this writer among the 3,000 delegates from all over the archipelago described the event as “the best camp we ever attended.”
Binay, Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) national president, expressed his appreciation to the provincial government led by Governor Amado Espino Jr., host Pangasinan-San Carlos City Council of the BSP, and all others involved in organizing the event “for giving every possible support” to make it successful.

They were also given training on sea, land and air survival skills as well as life-saving lessons which were deemed very important in scouting.
