Toni Gonzaga holds fund-raising concert for CCF

Artists who take time to go out of their way to help and offer their time for service always deserve a good turn. Toni Gonzaga and the band IAxe are good example of these selfless individuals.

Toni, one of ABS-CBN’s leading talents, has committed her time and talent to help our brothers and sisters at the Christ’s Commission Fellowship (CCF) in Cavite to raise funds for the church’s expansion which has been going on for about a year now.

Toni will be headlining a musical concert for this cause on Feb. 21, 6 p.m. at the CCF Cavite in Sun City Plaza, Anabu 1, Imus, Cavite. She will be joined in this worthwhile endeavor by the IAxe band who are also faithful members of the CCF church.

Pastor Nett Gochuico and his wife Bang are the overall in charge of the expansion program of CCF Cavite. Tickets to the show are sold at R300 on a first-come-first-served basis.

Shining moment for Star

Year 2009 is truly a blessing to Star Villareal who preferred to celebrate her 20th birthday at Enchanted together with her love ones. Her reason, she has been to this place many times but says she never enjoy herself and missed so much the feelings of playing during her childhood days to this place due to taping because of her early involved to showbiz at the age of four.

Lately, together with some versatile celebrities like Kuya Germs, Claire de la Fuente etc., she was also awarded during the 27th People’s Choice Awards as Promising Outstanding Young Female Entertainer and Events host 2009. She was amazed, thankful and proud to be one among the awardees.

Moreover, she was overwhelm and surprised when Ms. Shure Manuel, the President and Chairman of the BrightGold Production awarded her the title of being Ms. Brightgold 09. In addition to her blessings, Star will be graduating this coming March 26, in her chosen course as Product Designer (combination of Architecture and Fine Arts) at TUP.
