Natural makeup has always been a style mainstay, with light corals and peach hues dominating the catwalks of Hermes, Derek Lam, Badgley Mischka, Threeasfour, and Dolce & Gabbana for this year’s Spring-Summer collections. In Harper’s Bazaar magazine, makeup artist Tom Pécheux even shared, “It [peach] gives you the appearance of being a bit made-up without looking too girly or bronzy.”

Whether you’re tanned or fair-skinned, there’s a shade that will suit your skin tone. Just keep in mind that olive-skinned hotties should stick to warmer hues like corals, while cool tones in slightly pink tints are for the fair-skinned ladies. Don’t forget to apply a light liquid/cream foundation, such as Laura Mercier’s Illuminating Tinted Moisturizer, to achieve that sheer finish for a fresh look.

For young ladies, you can skip the foundation altogether and apply any moisturizer of your choice. Remember that this look is all about radiance and healthy, hydrated skin. Keep it simple with well-sculpted brows and curled lashes. To add glamour for evening functions, coats of mascara and a highlighter stick (on your brow bone and above your cheekbones) should do the trick!
