My Junior will beat Pacquiao – Floyd Sr.
Proven wrong the last two fights, Floyd Mayweather Sr. now says Manny Pacquiao’s streak will end if and when he faces his son, Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Told about Pacquiao’s smashing second-round knockout of Ricky Hatton, Mayweather Sr. told the website fight-hype that the Filipino pound-for-pound king “ain’t no unbeatable fighter.”
“Li’l Floyd going to stop him. Watch what I tell you,” Mayweather said.
Reminded that he had said the same thing before Hatton rumbled with Pacquiao last May 2 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Mayweather stressed that Pacquiao will be in for a shock against his son, who has proven many times in the past that he can not only be fast, but furious as well.
“We ain’t dealing with no Ricky Hatton. This is the real deal,“ said Mayweather Sr.
“This a different monster here. Ricky had the knowledge, but he wasn’t the athlete to pull out the strategy. This is an entirely different monster.”
