Adidas launches its “60 Years of Soles and Stripes” campaign this season together with the introduction of its Spring/Summer 2009 collection at Milan Fashion Week. The sports lifestyle brand brings back its iconic merchandise, from 1950s, streetwear-inspired, graphic-oriented items to 1980s pop-culture originality.

The celebration extends to the introduction of a massive collaboration with one of the biggest motorcycle brands in the world, Vespa. Moreso, Adidas maintains its current partnership with Italian lifestyle brand Diesel, a tie-up launched in 2008 to astounding success. These exciting milestones enhance the brand’s reputation as a style and lifestyle choice for the past 60 years.

Aside from the Vespa collection of footwear and apparel, this season highlights the unusual color and fabric mix in the “Spectrum” theme. Resorts, meanwhile, are focal inspirations for Adidas’ “Summer Resort” line, packaging more looks that appeal to the skateboarding and coastal lifestyle with novel designs and original applications.

Adidas customers can enjoy the latest designs and archival updates with the Spring/Summer 2009 offering. Aside from its footwear, a must-have this season is the hooded jacket. Designed with the three-stripes, these outerwear can come handy this season of unexpected weather changes. One can go for playful cartoon graphics splashed all over the jacket or step out in classic style with more polished design.
