Breaking news

I recently bought one of those ripped jeans in black and everyone kept asking me where I got it (one even commented that it’s “so Bailman”). It’s actually from this recent online discovery, Style Break, a multiply store perfect for the fashion aware willing to experiment on the current trends.
Style Break is by Laureen Uy and Katrina Loring, both students from University of Asia and the Pacific by day and fashion retailers in, well, during breaks. “We decided to put up an online store because we wanted to share designs that are very trendy, but are not available here in the Philippines or simply too expensive,” says Uy, who admits to having a not-so-fatal attraction to anything neon or silver. “We want our customers to not only stick to basics, but to stand out using our items,” adds Loring.
Style Break has no plans of opening a store yet since both entrepreneurs are still busy with their studies, (which is very important, if I may say so) but the stylish duo are hopeful. “If it will be big in the future, we might consider putting up a store,” they say. But, for now, there is the virtual store and a solid clientele who are keeping the hits high and the sales strong.
