The local queen of bossa nova music, Sitti digs other kinds of music genres, too, including rock.

An interview with Sitti revealed that she is a fan of rock bands Taken By Cars, Typecast, Urbandub, Brigada and Nyko Maca+Playground. She even goes to rock clubs, naming Ten02, Route 196 and Magnet Café as her favorite haunts.

Sitti jams with rock artists at times. She once performed impromptu with drum circle group, Brigada in Saguijo a couple of years ago.

The singer had recently moved to “diversifying” her sound by collaborating with pop singer Christian Bautista on the single, “Contagious.”

To showcase her eclectic taste in music, Sitti will headline “Friday Night Fusion” at Ten02 Bar on July 17. She will be joined by a diverse group of artists namely Layag, an upcoming fusion soul group; The Camerawalls, a three-piece band fronted by former Orange & Lemons member Clem Castro; Techy Romantics, a dance electronica trio; and Juan Pablo Dream, a mod and soul act fronted by ex-Put3Ska keyboardist, Bing Austria.

One of the most awaited songs in Sitti’s repertoire in “Fusion” is “Is This Love.” The song was written by Andrew Fromm and Keith Follesse of Christian Bautista’s seminal hit, “The Way You Look At Me,” and it is the current single from Sitti’s “Contagious” album under Warner Music.
