Megastar Sharon Cuneta has finally broken her silence on the rumor linking her daughter KC Concepcion to the Hayden Kho video sex scandal.

“Natawa talaga ako don [sa issue]. Kung totoo ‘yon, hindi ako makakaharap sa inyo dahil hindi ko naman maha-hide.. I couldn’t lie. I’ll keep quiet but you’ll see I’m bothered. But wala talaga, there’s no truth to that, walang-walang wala,” she said in “Showbiz News Ngayon” on Wednesday, July 1.

Sharon laughed at speculations that she allegedly bribed someone with P20 million to keep such a sex video from reaching the public.

“Ang sabi, parang binayaran ko. Sabi ko, ipakulong ko kaya muna siya [Hayden] bago ako maglabas ng tseke! Hindi ako naba-bother. Di ba, ang tsismis noon , pati ako may video? Alam ko namang wala,” she said.

The Hayden-KC rumor has been circulating for about a month now. It reached fever pitch while the megastar was still in the US doing concert tours, and while KC was also abroad.

Sharon will have a cameo role in Regal Entertainment’s comic offer, “Oh, My Girl!” starring Judy Ann Santos and Ogie Alcasid. The megastar plays the role of a fake fortune teller.

The actress will soon shoot for her first Regal movie, “Mano Po 6” which is intended for the Metro Manila Film Festival this December.
