Piolo wrote no love letter to KC
Hearthrob Piolo Pascual has denied rumors that he wrote a love letter to KC Concepcion, his leading lady in the forthcoming soap opera, “Lovers in Paris.”
"Hindi po,” he said in “The Buzz” on July 5. “Tinanong kasi kami sa ‘E-Live’ kung papaano raw ako manligaw at ang sabi ni Kristina [KC], ginagawan ko raw siya ng love letter. [But] it’s just a joke."
What Piolo admits to is his blossoming relationship with the actress who many believe, is the apple of Piolo's eyes nowadays.
"'Magkasama kami [ni KC] sa Paris for a month and we're taping almost everyday. Lagi naming nakikita ang isa't isa. Pero, siyempre, ang sukatan naman doon ay pagkatapos ng soap opera because might people say that we’re just doing this for the show.”
Piolo recently ventured into film production via “Manila,” an indie film which premiered in the recent Cannes Film Festival.
"Si direk Adolf po ang nag-approach sa akin for ‘Manila.’ Sabi niya, if I was interested to star in their indie film. It was actually our goal na makapasok sa Cannes. Later ay inimbitahan naman kami sa Moscow Film Festival," he said.
Venturing into production is Piolo's way of flexing his artistic muscles even more.
"Yes, I wanna grow in this business and not just limit myself to acting and singing. I want to broaden my horizons," he said.
The singer-actor hinted that his next movie role will be different from past ones.
“It's a role na gusto kong gampanan. Tita Malou Santos and I have talked about it at napag-isipan namin na puwede, puwede pala 'yon."
