“I became extroverted. I didn’t go out [and] just kept to myself. I wasn’t talking to any of my friends about it. I was in pain.”

This is what beauty doctor Vicki Belo said in an interview aired on “The Buzz” on July 5 on how affected she was at the height of the Hayden Kho-Katrina Halili sex video scandal. 

Her coming out, she said, is meant to clear her name which she felt was tarnished by insinuations that she was responsible for the dissemination of the “scandal videos.”

“Ako na ang idinedemanda…ang alam ko, biktima po ako rito…I think, it's time naman na magsalita ako para ipagtanggol ang sarili ko," she said.

Does Vicki know how to upload videos on the Internet?

“No! I don't even do e-mails. I don't know anything.” 

Belo said she was “surprised” and “hurt” when she first learned that Katrina Halili was having an affair with Kho. She was even more stunned when Halili eventually filed a case against her and the Belo Medical Group.

“[Her] having an affair with Hayden…that's something that was so painful…as with the things she sued me for. I thought she's my friend. I defended both of them when there were rumors in the beginning…four years of friendship…it really hurt me,” she said.

Belo denied that she and Hayden are back in each other’s arms.

“[And] if you’re asking me, am I in love with him? Am I going to be with him? Do I see ourselves spending the rest of our lives together and going off to the sunset and going to have a wonderful relationship? No.”

Still, Belo said Hayden deserves a second chance.

“In the 29 years that Hayden has been alive…for 28 years [he] has been [a] very good [person]. If you look at his past records, his friends from school…everybody will say how a decent man he was. I don't want people to judge his life for this one incident,” she said.

Belo admitted that one of her biggest regrets for having been involved in the scandal was how it affected her two children and 82-year-old mother.

“Imagine being asked by your mom: ‘Do you have a sex video?’”
