Rockoustic heartthrob Sam Milby is said to have a “blossoming” friendship with Fil-Am singer-actress Anna Maria Perez de Tagle, granddaughter of kundiman singer Sylvia dela Torre.

The two allegedly hit it off well after they were introduced at the recently concluded Star Magic World Tour in the US. They reportedly exchanged numbers and have been texting each other almost everyday even after Sam returned to Manila.

Apparently, Anna watched the Star Magic concert not because of Sam, but for the Kim Chiu-Gerald Anderson love team. Anna confesses to be a fan of the two and even watches “Tayong Dalawa” religiously on the TFC channel.

Anna was invited backstage by the production people where she was introduced to Kim and Gerald – and Sam Milby.

Anna plays the role of mean girl Ashley de Witt in the Hollywood TV series, “Hannah Montana” starring Miley Cyrus.. She was also cast in Disney Channel's original movie, “Camp Rock” which starred Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato.

The rising Hollywood star had also just wrapped up work on the Hollywood remake of 80s film, “Fame.” She plays the role of Joy Moy, an acting student who is about to get kicked out of school because of her poor performance.

Sam, on the other hand, is currently seen in the top rating ABS-CBN soap, “Only You” which also stars Angel Locsin and Diether Ocampo. He has sold-out concerts and hit movies and recordings tucked under his belt.
