Singer-actress Toni Gonzaga denied giving fans the cold shoulder in the US while she was there for a series of shows.

A tabloid reported that during an autograph signing session, the fans requested Toni to remove her shades which she allegedly refused to do.

The incident is said to have happened inside a Methodist church.

“If you check out some of the pictures ng Multiply site ng church in which I was shown, I wasn’t wearing shades at all. Basta ako, nagpunta ako duon para magpasaya at sa pagkakaalam ko, marami namang natuwa sa akin,” she told a “Showbiz News Ngayon” reporter.

Just the same, Toni was apologetic to her fans whom she might have unintentionally snubbed.

“Sa inyo na na-misinterpret at medyo nasupladahan sa akin, pasensiya na po kayo. Wala po akong intensiyon na ganun,” she said.

Toni also denied that she was removed from the cast of a Sarah Geronimo movie because of her “attitude problem”.

She said no such project has been broached to her to begin with, and if it is, billing wouldn’t even be a problem

“Si Sarah, mabait ‘yan, mahal ko ‘yan, kaya walang problema sa akin kahit na ano.”
