Former matinee idol Gabby Concepcion is okay with the idea that his daughter KC Concepcion might be frequenting Piolo Pascual’s place for “Bible studies.”

“Good,” he said on the matter during an interview aired in “Showbiz News Ngayon” on July 15.

“Mabuti na yung maging malapit tayo sa Diyos.”

Piolo and KC star in the forthcoming ABS-CBN adaptation of “Lovers in Paris.” Piolo recently admitted that he has been courting KC for some time now. KC said he is not aware of this.

Piolo recently gifted KC with a five year supply of her favorite perfume.

“He’s a nice guy,” said Gabby of Piolo whom he said he had already met and talked to a couple of times.

But does he approve of Piolo for KC?

“Mabuti na ‘yong magkakaibigan tayong lahat…mas masaya…mas mabuti para sa industriya,” was the vague response.

When prodded, Gabby said that he will be happy with whatever decision KC makes as long as she’s happy with it, too.

“What’s good for her is good enough for me,” said Gabby.

His advice to Piolo and KC if they become a couple:

“There should always be communication.”
