Like blow to an opponent, opinions about Manny Pacquiao’s political plans have generally been the same left and right. Critics would rather that the best pound-for-pound fighter remain a boxer but to his close friends, they know that politics in Pacman’s near future is an inevitable turn, particularly since the best fighter in the world today has already decided.

TV host and sports enthusiast Dyan Castillejo is among those privy to Pacquiao’s decisions. She confirmed with the Manila Bulletin that politics is likely to happen for Manny. “I think he is [running for Congress]. When I interviewed him, I found out that the people of Saranggani wants him to run again.”
Even after the aborted transfer of Pacquiao to ABS-CBN, Dyan said she and the People’s Champ kept in touch. “We’re good.”

The host of one of the longest-running local sports show “Sports Unlimited” is currently endorsing Easy Pha-Max Wheatgrass, a nutritional drink that Dyan said has kept her live the active life she has been leading. Along with her six-year-old son Matthew, Dyan enjoys the benefits of Easy Pha-Max Wheatgrass as a vegetable substitute equivalent to one pound of veggies per dosage. The product, which is organically grown under a soil-free environment in Malaysia, is said to neutralizes toxins and carcinogens in the body, improve blood sugar disorders, helps prevent tooth decay, increases hemoglobin production, improves digestion, reduces high blood pressure and aids in cancer prevention.

Dyan said her lifestyle makes her feel younger. “Although I have an erratic schedule, I run at 7:30 every morning after taking Matthew to school. I do it five times a week with my running coach. I also have a mini gym at home. I eat vegetables a lot like broccoli, spinach, carrots. That’s why my son calls me a rabbit.”

She confessed to occassional sweet indulgence. “Sometimes my husband (Anthon Garcia) buys me white chocolate. I eat them. I’m not after body weight but body quality like having some muscles in my arms and an abs. I’m a little kind of weird!”

Apart from Manny, Dyan admires Tiger Woods. She said of the golf superstar, “He’s nice and a very down-to-earth person.”
