Sexy comedienne RR Enriquez has apologized to actress Ruffa Gutierrez for her “Rofa” impersonation that recently aired in ABS-CBN gag show, “Banana Split.”

“I never naman say 'nakakalowkah.' I say 'grabeh' and 'eewww'....RR are you watching?” said Ruffa goodnaturedly in the July 12 episode of “The Buzz.”

Upon hearing Ruffa’s comments, RR apologized and explained.

“Hindi ko naman talaga alam eh. Once kasi lumabas sa script or sabihin ni direk, kelangan kong gawin yun para sa show. Kaya kung may nao-offend or si Ms. Ruffa mismo ang na-offend, sorry po kailangan lang po naman talaga yun para sa show namin. Sorry, sorry, sorry.”

RR finds it a challenge impersonating Ruffa. She said that because her subject is so eloquent in English, she herself is thinking of studying...“speech.”

“Alam naman natin that when Ruffa speaks in English, she talks very ‘sosy.’ Me, when I English, I panic,” said RR, laughing.

The comedienne said she’ll probably become as good as Ruffa in English “someday.”

Lately, a lot of comedians have been getting attention for their parodies of well-known celebrities.

Pokwang, who impersonates Manny Pacquiao’s mother, Dionisia Pacquaio, was even offered to guest in an event in General Santos, South Cotabato on strength of her effective parody. The comedienne was invited to the show by Manny himself.

Her friend Pooh, on the other hand, also laughs his way to the bank by impersonating Manny Pacquiao. He had guested in concerts and variety shows parodying the People’s Champ.
