Actress Pauleen Luna has confirmed that she has been going out with heartthrob Dennis Trillo.

The two play boyfriend-girlfriend roles in the TV show, “Adik Sa ‘Yo.”

“He’s very special to me, we’re very close,” Pauleen said in “24 Oras.” “Ayaw naming tawagin [ito] ng kung ano, but we go out.”

Dennis echoed her statement at a press conference. “Yes, lumalabas kami on group dates. Minsan, kaming dalawa [lang]. Okay kasama si Pauleen, mabait siya.”

When asked if Dennis is courting her, Pauleen answered, “Ewan ko.”

She, however, acknowledged that they jive. “Masaya kami ‘pag magkasama.”

Pauleen’s last romantic involvement was with actor Marvin Agustin, another co-star in “Adik Sa ‘Yo.” She and Marvin have remained friends.

Dennis, on the other hand, had recently confirmed that he and actress Cristine Reyes have broken up. The actor denied that he and Cristine have only made an agreement to not date for a set period of time.

“Break na po kami talaga [at] wala po akong regrets. Wala na kaming kinalaman sa isa’t isa,” he said.

Pauleen ensured that Dennis was really unattached before she even considered dating him. “Three to four times ko siyang tinanong [tungkol dun],” she said.

So, are they romantically involved?

“We’re really close now,” was Pauleen’s simple answer.
