Actress Pauleen Luna and heartthrob Dennis Trillo call each other “Irog” but deny that they are an item.

The term of endearment is how their characters in TV show “Adik Sa ‘Yo” call each other, they explained.

Pauleen has admitted that Dennis is “very special” to her. She has a big crush on Dennis whom she has dined and watched a movie with recently.

“We’re really close and he’s special,” Pauleen told reporter Lhar Santiago in “24 Oras.” “Ayaw po muna naming tawagin nang kung anu-ano [ang relasyon namin]. Basta, masaya kami ‘pag magkasama. Sobra kaming nagja-jive.”

The young actress clarified that she didn’t cause Dennis’s break-up with Cristine Reyes. She said that she even asked Dennis several times about the matter before she started going out with him.

“Ayoko kasi ng may sabit. Sabi niya, wala, and I believe him,” she said.

At the recently-concluded FHM event held at the World Trade Center in Pasay City, Cristine was rumored to have given Pauleen the cold shoulder.

Cristine, the rumors go, didn’t bother to say “Hi!” to Pauleen even when they were just an arm’s length away from each other.
