6 Jackson CDs swell UK chart
From five last week, the late King of Pop Michael Jackson now has six CDs in the UK Top 10 chart with “The Motown Years” and “Thriller 25th Anniversary Edition” entering at numbers five and nine, respectively.
Further, Jackson’s “The Essential” rules the chart for a second week in a row, strengthening the icon’s dominance.
The other Michael Jackson albums in the list are “Off The Wall” (number three) “Thriller” (number four) and “Number Ones” (number seven).
In the UK singles chart, “Evacuate the Dancefloor” by electrodance diva Cascada remains on top.
Meanwhile, The Black Eyed Peas’s “I Gotta Feeling” roosts still at the zenith of the US Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 Singles chart. At number two is Drake’s “Best I Ever Had” which gallops a notch up from last week.
Other contenders in the US singles chart are Taylor Swift, whose “You Belong with Me” climbs three spots to number six, and Hannah Montana whose “He Could Be the One” secures tenth place.
Maxwell returns big time by landing at the apex of The Billboard 200 Top 10 Albums with “BLACKsummers’night.” Last week’s number one album, “NOW 31!” stumbles to number three.
The “Hannah Montana 3” OST debuts at number two.
