Juday betters chances of conceiving
Actress Judy Ann Santos has consulted with an OB-Gyne to bolster her chances of conceiving.
“Ako pa lang muna kasi ayoko siyang (husband Ryan Agoncillo) i-subject sa ganon,” she said in the recent “Oh, My Girl” press conference.
“Respeto ko na lang sa asawa ko na kung kaya kong ayusin at wala namang problema, ako muna.”
Juday’s revealed that she is taking folic acid and medicines for fertility to offset exhaustion from work which might impede her chances of getting pregnant.
“Medyo mahirap lang on my end na mag-conceive ng baby kasi nga pagod, walang pahinga, puyat palagi, pressured,” she said.
The actress clarified that it was she who initiated the move to see an OB-Gyne.
“Talagang nag-decide lang ako to do it because I wanted to make sure everything is normal,” she said.
Juday consulted with a doctor even before she wed Ryan whom she said has been very supportive of her.
“Sabi niya, ‘Okay lang ‘yan, subok lang nang subok,” she said.
Juday and Ryan are willing to wait for their bundle of joy. They will not resort to artificial insemination.
The actress added that she needs to space her projects for better chances of conceiving. As it is, her work schedule is punishing at six days a week.
“Hindi pa lang siguro tinatiming ni Lord. Siguro sa tamang oras, ibibigay niya [sa amin ang baby].”
