Dennis denies dating Heart
Although Dennis Trillo has doused rumors that he is courting Heart Evangelista, the actress’ ex-boyfriend Jericho Rosales said he wishes her “all the best” when asked on the matter.
At the premiere night of “Astig,” an indie film produced by TV host Boy Abunda and businessman Boy So of La Carmela de Boracay, Dennis denied that he and Heart are dating.
“Hindi, hindi,” he said to a reporter of “The Buzz” which was aired in the show on July 19.
The actor said work keeps him from having a love life.
“Masyado akong ano…focused ako sa trabaho ko,” he said.
However, Jericho, in “Showbiz News Ngayon” on July 20, commented “di mapipigilan ang mga pangyayari” when told of the rumor.
“Di ko din naman sinasabi na gusto kong pigilin. For me, I wish her all the best. Kung anuman ang reaction ko dun at kung ano man yung saloobin ko sa mga bagay na nangyayari sa kanya, sa akin na muna yun,” he said.
He denied feeling jealous, adding that he himself had gone out with many other girls after his break up with Heart.
“Pero hindi talagang yung date-date-date na ganun,” he said.
“[At] di ko maitatago ang feelings ko para kay Heart. Heart will always be Heart…in my heart.”
Just last week, Jericho confirmed that he and Heart have gone out to watch movies “but only because we are on speaking terms again.”
It was talk show host Kris Aquino who reported in “Showbiz News Ngayon” that Dennis is courting Heart.
She said it with conviction adding, “Si Popoy won’t lie.” Kris and Popoy Caritativo, manager of Dennis and Marian Rivera, are friends of long standing.
Apart from Heart, Dennis also denied he is dating Kaye Abad.
“Wala, matagal na ‘yon,” he said.
And when asked about his ex-girlfriend Cristine Reyes, Dennis quickly parried the topic.
“Medyo ayaw ko nang pag-usapan ang bagay na ‘yan kasi matagal na kaming tapos,” said he.
Dennis is also said to be squiring actress Pauleen Luna who admitted to have gone out on a few dates with the actor.
She, however, dismissed talks that they’re a couple, although reports have it that their relationship is more than friendship. Reportedly, they call each other ‘irog,’ a term of endearment of the roles they play in “Adik Sa ‘Yo.”
