Although they have confirmed their breakup, both Vhong Navarro and Desiree del Valle refused to give details or even dignify questions about it when interviewed by reporters of “Showbiz News Ngayon” (SNN).

Asked about the state of her love life, Desiree merely quipped: “Masaya ako. Wala naman akong dapat sabihin about that. Ang ganda ko, no?”
 
Egged on, the actress gave a totally irrelevant response.

“Manood po kayo ng ‘The Wedding,’” she said. “Sa ating mga Kapamilya, maraming salamat po.”

In another interview, Desiree was quoted to have said that she learned a lot from her relationship with Vhong, likening the “experience” to a “101” course.

She added that she busies herself with work nowadays “because life is short and you have to make the most out of it.”

Vhong likewise parried questions on the matter during his recent contract signing with Star Cinema.

“Ang sarap ng food, no? Kain kayo,” he told the “SNN” reporter.

He later stated that he has “no time” for love given his work load and eye injury.

“Hindi, magtrabaho na [lang] muna ako…ayusin ko muna mata ko…para pag tumingin ka sa mata [ko],  mafa-fall ka pa din.”

In a previous interview in which he admitted the split, Vhong vaguely said he and Desiree remain “good friends” and that they still “text” each other.

The comedian categorically stated that no third party was involved in their breakup.
