There is a strong possibility that Black Eyed Peas’ hot single, “I Gotta Feeling,” will rule both the US and UK charts at the same time soon.

“I Gotta Feeling” stays on top of the US chart for the nth week even as it zooms up seven spots to number three in the UK.

The biggest challenge to BEP in the US is Taylor Swift’s “You Belong to Me” which advances three places to number three. Meanwhile, Drake’s “Best I Ever Had” hangs on at number two. Katy Perry’s latest single, “Waking Up in Vegas,” shows up for the first time in the Top 10 at number 10.

In the UK singles chart, boy band JLS debuts on top with their hot single “Beat Again.” The song dislodges erstwhile number one song, “Evacuate the Dancefloor,” while popular electronic DJ Chicane’s latest single, “Poppiholla,” lands in the Top 10 at number seven.

In the US album charts, Daughtry displaces Maxwell’s “BLACKsummers’night” at number one. 

Daughtry leads a batch of fresh debuts including Jack White’s The Dead Weather (“Horehound,” number six), R&B crooner Joe (“Signature,” number seven), and rapid-fire rapper Twista (“Category F5,” number eight).

The late King of Pop continues to reign in the UK album charts with “The Essential.” Singer/songwriter/guitarist Paolo Nutini’s new album “Sunny Side Up” debuts at number six.
