Acclaimed actress Gina Pareño let out a good amount of honest comments recently at the press event for new movie “Love On Line,” where the seasoned actress co-stars with Vic Sotto.

Playing Vic’s mother, Gina was overwhelmed when Vic was all praises about her craft. Vic said he knew Gina is good but it turned out she was more. The next Comedy King said he could not help but relegate himself a fan next to someone like Gina.

Obviously touched by Vic’s comments, Gina said she remains faithful to the business because, “Masaya umarte. Napakasarap ng pakiramdam pag umaarte ako. Pag-uwi ko sa bahay masaya ako dahil nagagawa ko pa rin ito.”

In a rare moment, the entertainment press saw an actress who is sincerely thankful to be doing a job others tend to neglect. Gina added, “Nagpapasalamat ako kasi nabigyan ako ng pagkakataon na makabalik at makaarte muli. Sa dami ng mistakes na nagawa ko in the past, napakalaking bagay na I still got to do what I want to do kaya mahalaga sa akin ito.”

Now if only more actors of this generation will be as grateful as Gina then we’ll have a better industry. Juicy Corner could not help but be reminded of the nightly mediocre acting most young stars today churn out on primetime TV.

Angel, a bit shocked watching WWE live

Although she was texting for most part of the show, Angel Locsin let out a few surprised reactions when she watched live the WWE Smackdown event at the Araneta Coliseum with boyfriend Luis Manzano.

The obvious fan being Luis, sources at the event told Juicy that the actress kept checking her mobile phone and retouching her makeup while watching.

The one thing that obviously caught Angel’s attention was when female wrestling artists bared too much skin. The actress probably did not expect feminine reign and much estrogen show inside the ring.

Vic charms Paula Taylor

Famous Thai actress and model Paula Taylor admitted it’s not impossible to fall for someone like Vic Sotto, with whom she co-stars with in “Love On Line.”

“He’s very charming and he always makes me laugh!” Paula said of Vic. She said it is not impossible for her not to fall for a funny man like Vic.

Paula also denied that she and co-host Marc Nelson are an item. “We’re good friends. We’re just good friends.”

She added that it’s hard to have a relationship with someone whom you’re away from most of the time.

What Paula found out about herself doing a film in the Philippines was that a big part of her is very Filipina.
