Heartthrob Sam Milby admits to being friends with Fil-Am actress Anna Marie Perez de Tagle but denies that it has gone beyond that.

"Naging friends kami, pero hindi naman naging intimate ‘yung relationship. We keep in touch, we communicate, we chat in the Internet but that’s it," Sam told Manila Bulletin Online on Aug. 5 at the Dolphy Theater in ABS-CBN.

Anna Marie is the granddaughter of Kundiman singer Sylvia La Torre and a star in the remake of forthcoming Hollywood film, "Fame."

Sam and Anna Marie met in one of the shows of Star Magic talents in the US. Anna Marie went to the show purposely to watch her idols Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson.

Sam says he is proud of Anna Marie's achievements but that she's too young for him.

"I'm very proud sa mga Pinay na successful internationally. I'm proud of her. Bata pa naman siya. She's only 18. I like [girls whose age range is around], mga 25."

The dreamboat also dismissed reconciliation rumors between him and Anne Curtis.

Rumor has it that Anne and Sam were seen together on a date after which Sam even brought Anne to her home because the actress is said to be traumatized still after figuring in a car accident recently.

Sam said, "We bumped into each other. I don't know where exactly. Saan ba? Anyway, she said naman ayaw niyang magpa-drive kaya nga lagi siyang may driver."

The driver, Sam hinted, is one of Anne's current suitor.

Sam admits that he finds his leading lady Bea Alonzo “really attractive.” In a TV interview, he said Bea is "yummier" nowadays.

"We've known each other, matagal na. Anything is possible. Sa totoo lang, who wouldn't like Bea?  Kahit bata pa siya, pinapakita niya sa mga roles niya that she's really mature for her age."
