Bea Alonzo’s slap nearly ruptures Sam Milby’s eardrum
Bea Alonzo almost ruptured Sam Milby’s eardrum by slapping his face too hard in a scene in the forthcoming film, “And I Love You So.”
The two actors were rehearsing the blocking for the scene when it happened, said director Lauren Dyogi on “The Buzz,” Aug. 9.
Then again, the number of takes that Sam’s kissing scene with Bea took, more than made up for the mishap: no less than 10 times!
"Masyado niyang [Sam] nagustuhan ang love scenes," Lauren joked. "Hindi, medyo naging maingat kasi kami sa blocking, sa kamay....."
Lauren admitted to have been carried away in one scene in the movie.
"Nadala ako sa eksena [kahit na] ako na ang gumawa no'n, ha? Ganoon ka-effective 'yong eksena," he said.
Lauren commended Sam's dramatic prowess in “And I Love You So.” He said that the actor’s dedication and hard work is finally paying off.
[And to think that] noong in-audition namin siya [sa Pinoy Big Brother], ang akala ko ay magpapacute lang siya sa show. I didn’t expect him to mature as an actor, said Lauren.
Sam returns the compliment, saying Dyogi helped him prepare for the role which the actor said is far from who he is in real life.
Is it possible for Sam to fall for Bea?
"We're not at the point of....she's pretty and so hardworking.... and she's only 21 so you think about that. [But] like I said, there's no guy who wouldn't fall for her," the actor said.
