THE BEST pound-for pound fighter is no match for the ‘new’ Jinkee Pacquiao.

It has been quite a while since Manny Pacquiao felt a sense of insecurity, said wife Jinkee Pacquiao to Manila Bulletin. Jinkee recently found a new way to bring the People’s Champ to his knees.

Like a killer stroke in boxing, Jinkee’s knock-out body has had Manny second guessing her wife.

“Tinatanong niya na ako lagi ngayon kung bakit ako laging nagme-make-up. Bakit daw nag-gy-gym na ako ngayon. Sabi ko sa kanya I have to feel good naman about myself.”

She added, “Lagi na niya akong chine-check kung nasaan ako, sino ang mga kasama ko. Normal naman sa nagmamahal ang selos.”

Jinkee said she has gotten used to intrigues. “Before nasusungitan ko siya (Manny) pero ngayon nagtatanong na lang ako. Alam ko naman na nilalabanan niya ang mga temptations,” she said adding that it’s nice to be on the receiving end of Manny’s jealousy for a change.

Being married to the boxing icon of this generation has its perks. Among the many things Jinkee enjoys now is the privilege to be the newest Belo endorser.

“I have been going to Belo clinics for five years now so I was really happy when the offer to endorse Belo came. I had lyposuction even before the last time I gave birth. Pag na-lypo ka na kasi, hindi ka na tataba ng sobra. May weight pa rin akong na-gain sa pagbubuntis pero hindi na masyado and it’s easier to go back to your ideal weight after you give birth,” Jinkee explained.

Dra. Jinkee said she realized the importance of looking her best because she could not avoid the spotlight anymore. “I had to look good for myself. I gained much confidence. I still diet now but just to maintain na lang.”

She said Manny himself wants to go to Belo. “When he retires from boxing, pupunta na siya and have services done on him. Lagi niya kasi sinasabi that if he goes now, useless kasi lalaban pa siya, sayang naman. Pag nagretire na lang siya.”

Another woman in Manny’s life who could not avoid the spotlight but is quite comfortable with it is Dionesia Pacquiao. Jinkee said she does not mind taking her mother-in-law to Belo. “Why not? If gusto niya talaga ng makeover, puwede natin i-suggest,” Jinkee said when someone from the media asked if the Pac-Mom is willing to have a Belo makeover.

Jinkee said she’s happy that she’s trusted with endorsers. But the call to limelight ends with that.

“Okay ako sa mga endorsements, commercial, pictorials pero ayoko ng acting. Ayoko ng masyadong intriga. At yung time sa mga anak ko ang inaalala ko. Mahirap yung shooting kasi it takes long hours away sa mga anak ko. Dapat hanggang bata pa sila, nandun ako palagi for them.”
