Anti-Illegal Drugs operatives of the Northern Police District conducting surveillance against illegal video karera outlets in Navotas City instead stumbled upon a gay beautician who was found in possession of illegal drugs while playing in the joint.

Chief Insp. Jay Agcaoili, head of the NPD's District Anti-Illegal Drugs-Special Operation Group, identified the suspect as Norcel Mesina, 30, of North Bay Boulevard, Navotas City.

Agcaoili said when the operatives raided the video karera outlet, they saw Mesina inside and frisked him. The beautician reportedly yielded two pieces of small heat-sealed transparent plastic with suspected shabu and one pair of scissors.

Police learned that drug addicts apparently enjoy playing video karera to the fullest when they are high on shabu.

Mesina is facing charges of possession of dangerous drugs and a P200,000 bail was recommended for his temporary freedom.
