If Dennis Trillo is having a blast and is addicted to his successful showbiz career, it can of course be attributed to his superb thespian skills, hard work and also a bit of luck. But it was never because he knew about his future even before it happened because if there’s one thing Dennis Trillo doesn’t like doing, it’s having his future read by a fortune-teller or a tarot card reader!

That changed though last Monday during the solo press conference for the actor for his upcoming horror movie with Marian Rivera entitled “Tarot,” directed by Jun Lana for Regal Entertainment. To his surprise, the producers had a Tarot card reader present who read the actor’s past, present and future.

“Having my fortune told is scary. And I don’t want my life to depend on it because I might not do anything anymore to improve myself,” Dennis explained in Filipino.

He added though that he doesn’t mind having an inkling of what his future may be to act as his guide and as basis on how he would live his life.

“The bottomline is that it would still be you who would control your life and where you are destined to be,” he quipped.

Regarding his family, the Tarot card reader revealed that there is a member of his family who loves Dennis very much. That person was recently very stressed out but because of their prayers, that person survived and will be okay.

That person according to him could be her mom who underwent a successfull heart surgery recently!

Regarding his love life, he was told that his former lover, who loved him very much, was able to move on already but she still misses him. Also, in one of the readings, he was forewarned that his “present love life” is not yet the one.

Could the Tarot card reader be talking about Cristine Reyes, his ex-girlfriend who is rumored to be dating someone new now? And what would happen now to his rumored “present love interest” Pauleen Luna whom he admitted he is exclusively dating and whose company he is enjoying so much?

On a positive note, he was told that all his dreams would come true. And this is because all the good things he has been doing would reap good karma. He was told that his obligations have just started but that he would not tire of them especially for his family and this would bring him good karma. His good fortune according to the Tarot card reader would last beyond 2011!

Dennis Trillo was also warned to be careful about future business ventures, the “devil” in him and his driving. He was advised not to drive alone and to be wary about the places he would go to. It was also predicted that he would travel out of town and out of the country which he would enjoy very much!

Lastly, he was told that at his age and stature he still doesn’t know what is his “happiness.” And that he is the type who enjoys what he has right now. He’d also discover what his true happiness will come soon or when he turns “30.” And he will have a successful married life!

To this readings, Dennis’ reaction was: “I enjoyed it and she was good. I had goose bumps too because what she told me were true.”

“Tarot” opens on Aug. 26 and it reunites him with Marian Rivera whom he worked with in the horror flick “Pamahiin.”

So how was it working again with Marian Rivera now that she is also a star like him?

“Actually our status before and now never affected our working relationship. We’ve always been true to ourselves as actors and we never let our career’s successes interfere with our work. All I can say is that the interval between our films were opportunities for us to improve our crafts. Especially Marian whose development as an actress I was able to witness,” Dennis said.

Compared to “Pamahiin,” Dennis remarked that there’s more freaky scenes and frightening scenes in “Tarot.” He also described “Tarot” as a very intense horror movie!
