John Lloyd Cruz is still visibly affected by news that his ex-GF  Liz Uy might have found a new boyfriend in model Francis Ricafort.

Liz and Francis, according to the grapevine, were seen being all lovey-dovey in a recent night out. 

"Kami ni Liz, nagkakausap kami. Siguro naman, sa tagal ng pinagsamahan namin, masasabi  niya or makukuwento niya kung meron siyang boyfriend," he said somberly  in "Showbiz News Ngayon" Aug. 18.

He also said, albeit quite forlornly, that it's okay for him that Liz now have a new boyfriend. "Kung saan siya masaya....." he quipped. 

The actor said he is enjoying his single-blessedness.

"Pag nasanay ka na…Ako kasi…pinakamahaba, pinakamatagal na yatang I’ve managed to stay this way [single]... It’s quite a journey. Marami kang discoveries, maganda.. Kapag nalagpasan mo na ‘to and na-prove mo na parang you can actually manage to be single and you’re used to being single, you stay happy about it. I guess being single is a good choice."

He added, "Sobrang okay ako ngayon, kung ano man ang estado ko ngayon. I’m very happy to be working."

In the same "SNN" episode, TV host Kris Aquino who is a very close friend of Liz', couldn't help but share some information about the former couple.

The ever loquacious Kris revealed that Liz apparently admitted that, Francis is not her boyfriend. Not yet that is.  

"She told me, you know, he (Francis Ricafort) gives me a lot of attention and a lot of comfort but it’s not 'us'," Kris related..

But the revelation didn't stop there. 

"Si John Lloyd, tawag nang tawag nang tawag kay Liz," Kris said.
