Boxing champ Manny Pacquiao is willing to act as peace negotiator in Mindanao.

The pound for pound world champion said he will heed Senator Nene Pimentel’s request for him to head the peace negotiations in Mindanao when the offer is made official.

The senator believes Manny is well loved by both Christians and Muslim, and that he can be instrumental in bringing peace in the region.

Gano’n ko kamahal ang bansa natin,” Manny said during the press conference for his sitcom "Show Me The Manny" held Aug. 18 at Jimmy’s Bar in Timog, Quezon City.

In the home front, Manny admits he still gets jealous over some things concerning his wife Jinkee.

Nagseselos ka dahil mahal mo ‘yong tao,” he explained.

He added that his wife has nothing to be jealous about in his soap with Marian Rivera.

“Wala naman at naiintidihan naman niya ako. Nagkakatuwaan lang kami. Ano ito, pagkakaibigan. Natural na ‘yang nagseselos. ‘pag walang selos, walang pagmamahal."

Manny finds  Marian to be a very good comedienne.

He also clarified that he has nothing to do with the axing of Vic Sotto’s sitcom "Ful Haus" on GMA-7 even though " Show Me The Manny" will occupy the slot vacated by that show.

“Wala naman. Siguro, ang makakasagot niyan ay ang GMA. Hindi naman kami ang may control diyan,” he said.

The champion boxer explains that he is not out to compete with any show.

And what sets apart his new comic show from the rest?

“Meron kaming 'you know, they know.' Siyempre, meron kaming Marian Rivera. Meron kaming  guwapo at saka pangit. Lahat ng klase ng pagpapatawa,” he said in jest.

When asked to comment on Nonito Donaire’s profuse gratitude towards him for opening world-wide attention to other Filipino boxers, the ever humble Manny said:

Good luck sa career nila.

"Show Me the Manny" will start airing on GMA-7 on Aug. 23.
