GMA-7’s young star Carla Abellana fainted last August 17 in Taal, Batangas where she was taping for her soap opera, “Rosalinda.”

Abellana was rushed to the hospital by leading man Geoff Eigenmann where findings showed she was overfatigued with symptoms of irregular heartbeat and low sugar. 

Prior to collapsing, Abellana had done a catfight scene with Sheryl Cruz's character Valeria. She also had taped thrice for “Rosalinda” that week with each taping day lasting until the wee hours of the morning.

Further, Abellana attended the birthday party feted by Regal Matriarch Mother Lily for Marian Rivera on Aug. 20 which may have contributed to the exhaustion.

Abellana has recovered and is back to work.
