Vice Governor Aga Muhlach?

Is Aga Muhlach thinking of entering politics?
Rumors abound that Camarines Sur governor Luis Raymond “L-Ray” Villafuerte, Jr asked Aga to be his running mate in the 2010 elections when the actor celebrated his birthday in the province last Aug. 12.
The governor and the matinee idol had long known each other. Their bond was strengthened by their shared passion for water sports particularly wakeboarding.
The local government of Cam Sur has set up the world-renowned Cam Sur Water Sports Complex or CWC, which the actor and his family frequent.
Beyond that, the only other connection Aga has with the Bicol region was that of a film he shot there with Claudine Barreto titled “Kailangan Kita.”
Nonetheless, net denizens are encouraging the actor to pursue public office saying, “we love to see him more often here,” –this obviously from a Bicolano fan; and “he [Aga] is sure to win—he’s so cuuutee”; and “It might work. He looks like he has a good head on his shoulders--not to mention a good-looking one.”
The actor and his manager Ethel Ramos were unavailable for comment as of this writing.
