The marking of important milestones in one’s life should be treasured, and celebrated with friends and family. With this in mind, the amiable Ann S. Puno, wife of active lawyer Atty. Renato V. Puno, the Managing Partner of Zulueta, Puno, and Ferrer law offices (ZPF), left nothing to chance in ensuring a well-planned dinner reception to commemorate two significant events in Atty. Puno’s life and career. Rene, as he is fondly called by many, turned 54 years old. But more importantly, Atty. Puno celebrated his 25th anniversary as a practicing lawyer.

Over 200 guests trooped to the One Esplanade, the fashionable events venue located at the Mall of Asia complex. Ann Puno, together with magazine editor and events specialist Cristine Rojas, put together a line-up of artists and entertainers who gladly performed as a pure expression of affection for the well-loved Atty. Puno.

Hosted by Johnny Litton, the program included the Ateneo College Glee club, the Tala Children’s Choir, The Company, saxophonist Jun Figueroa, concert violinist Macky Chua, global performer Ding Mercado, the wacky Cynthia Patag, renowned composer Willie Cruz with the Ambivalent Crowd, Eric Bañez and his Band, and the St. James the Great Parish Catholic Praise Ministry of Ayala Alabang.

Atty. Puno’s ZPF law Partners, attorneys Antonio Zulueta and Inocencio Ferrer, offered a toast to the birthday celebrant. But the highlight of the evening was the sincere birthday message of Atty. Puno’s father, former Secretary of Justice Ricardo C. Puno, Sr., which left the numerous guests teary-eyed.
